Learn about compassion and awareness from author, therapist, compassion educator, and grief worker Elizabeth Straka, then participate in a guided Portal of Awareness Walk.

We will meet at the gazebo, transition to another area to discuss principles of compassion and elements of awareness, then take a facilitated walk. The program lasts about 1 hour.

Inspiration

PORTAL is a sculpture prominent on the Wells Reserve campus. It stands strong, yet tender, in a fieldand acts as a vector for compassion programming. Elizabeth Straka is partnering with sculptor David Allen and the Wells Reserve to develop awareness, compassion, and grief programs.
